"Hello,

I'm writing you because I feel you might have a better chance to get
this info to the actor Andy Whitefield or someone close to him, than I
could.
I'm a recent fan of the Spartacus and was moved by the actors
performance. When I heard of his cancer I had the same reaction I get
whenever I hear anyone is sicken with the illness. I do whatever I can
to tell them about these natural health treatments that completely rid
the person of cancer, I was also excited by the thought that if this
news gets to him in time it will be a huge vehicle to spread this life
saving news to the world.

I'm not a health practitioner or salesman of any sort i'm just a fan
of his who has struggled half of my life with health problems and have
became aware of an entire world of alternative health concept that
much of the world is kept in the dark about.

I will tell you of these phenomena and if you are convinced of their
efficacy please pass the message along, although I would like remain
anonymous, because my health issues havn't been solved yet and putting
drawing too much attention to myself in the united states right now
would put my own treatment at risk.

There is a currently a cancer protocol spreading around the world,
albeit slowly involving a concentrated marijuana extract. I may have
been skeptical of this had I not heard about it by my neighbor who
happens to be an Israeli surgeon, who is currently working along with
the american college of physicians, a group of over 100,000 american
medical Dr's. to help this treatment gain legitimacy.

I was told to watch this video which explains the protocol and
how it came about.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjhT9282-Tw
In watching the video and realizing the people in it are neither
hippies or the average marijuana proponents rather farmers who have
just been stricken with cancer but now cured. I was even more less
skeptical.

After watching 10 people in my own community try the and have
their cancer taken under complete control and cured I no longer have
any more skepticism and do what I can to spread the message.

The second treatment protocol involves a supplement much easier to
obtain. Please watch this video as an explanation to it. It mostly
touches on vitamin C treatments however the most important part of the
protocol is the delivery method involving liposomes. He doesn't touch
on it until the end video livon labs is the leader in the field if
your interested
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gdm7AS8Qa-s.

Please write me back if you have any questions, I hope the info takes
hold if not for the actors benefit maybe this info will come in handy
at some point in your life."

It Comes in a Tube

This is a re-post from January of 2010.  Most of our dear readers have not seen it.  Those who have are holding lighters aloft and cheering for this encore (in our minds anyway.)  It has been edited slightly from the original.  Please enjoy responsibly.

____________________________________________________________________

LG is sure his sister, MIG, will know exactly what this post is about merely by the title.

LG's father emigrated to the United States from Greece in the 1950s.  His first job was working for his uncle, also an immigrant, who owned a diner/coffee shop on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan.  Over time, LG's father learned the business and went on to own at least seven diners (LG may have missed one or two in his count.)

Being a blue collar worker, you'd think LG's dad was pretty handy with tools.

He wasn't.  Not in the least.

He was, however, very talented at running a diner.  He had all the requisite skills.  He picked good locations for his diners.  He knew shrewd strategies for negotiating with suppliers, hiring and retaining help and hiding income from the IRS.  In short, he had an exceptional aptitude for the diner business.  He could also cook up a storm.  But, for all of his blue collar-ness, LG's father wasn't handy.  Whenever he assembled something pursuant to a set of directions, vital parts, without fail, would be left over.

Who really needs handlebars and a second wheel on a bike anyway?  It's now a unicycle, enjoy!

LG's father's lack of handyman skills must've been especially vexing to him in light of the fact that his younger brother, LG's Uncle Leo, became a highly-skilled carpenter after arriving in America.  Uncle Leo owned a successful contracting business for 40 years.

This will seem unrelated to the above, but here are some everyday products that come in tubes:

Whenever LG's father came to an impasse during a repair or assembly project around the house, usually caused by his lack of expertise, his fallback remedy was to send LG to the hardware store for some magical, yet-to-be-invented item that, as LG's father would always say, "comes in a tube."

If you saw the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding," you know that Nia Vardalos's dad used Windex as a panacea for all the world's ills.  LG wishes it were that simple with his father.  Keeping an ample supply of Windex on hand would've been easy.  But, no, that's not how it was in LG's family's house.

Here are some examples of how LG's father would invoke the Miracle of the Magic Tube.  The heavy Greek accent is hard to replicate in writing, so you'll have to use your imagination:

"Boy! Boy! [He usually called LG "Boy!" reserving use of LG's real name for times of anger.]  Boy! Gee Gee Christ, this window won't open.  Go to de hardware store, they have a new thing to loosen windows, it comes in a tube."

So, off LG would go, in search of the Magic Tube.

Believe it or not, the hardware store never specifically had "window loosen-er" in a tube, but they did have some type of oil.  But that was an easy one; LG is just warming up.  Moving to the next level....

"Boy! Boy! The boat won't start.  Go to de hardware store, they have boat starter.  It comes in a tube."

That's not actually a picture of one of LG's father's boats, but it's not too far off.  His last boat was bigger than this, but, of course, that only meant it caused bigger headaches.  And, if you're wondering, there is no such thing as "boat starter" in a tube.  LG could write an entire book on his father and boating, but that'll have to wait.  Not only until LG gets the time, but also until the trauma wears off.

It was, of course, embarrassing to ask for these tubes of crazy products that LG knew didn't exist, but he had little choice. LG's father had sent him on a mission.  LG eventually developed a method of asking the clerk for these mythical items that furtively included a denial in the question.

"You don't carry a tube of anything that will repair a broken lawn mower engine, do you?  No?  I didn't think so, I was just checking, thanks..."

My father's cure-all tube mania seemed to grow stronger as time went on.  He wasn't discouraged by the fact that there was never a product "in a tube" to fix any of his repair problems.  He persevered because he always knew that there was "a new thing in a tube" to handle the latest task at hand.  What perplexed LG most, in that pre-internet era, was where his father was reading about these supposedly new miracle products in a tube.  LG was pretty sure that advances in technology weren't discussed in the Daily Racing Form.

Eventually, LG's father was sending him to pick up Miracle Tubes that could repair home appliances, fix transistor radios, fill driveway potholes, replace leaky plumbing and, even, LG seems to recall, regenerate limbs.

This mechanical arm, LG believes, came from a tube. Or, rather, it would have if his father had his way.  In a perfect world, LG's father would've worked for G.E. or NASA in the Innovation Department.

LG's poor search skills.  It never occurred to LG's father that this product didn't actually exist.  And, of course, the lazy American stock clerk's own incompetence was a contributing factor.

That's the abbreviated story of LG's father and the Magic Tubes. All of this bending over the keyboard has stiffened LG's back and arms quite a bit.  He's going out to buy some Ben Gay for his muscles.

It comes in a tube.

Selection 2011 - Joel Rush

A thought for the day

Prayers from around the world filter up to the heavens for intercessory. We mustn't forget as individuals, we are here to do for others, to bring them laughter or just to make them smile. Giving of oneself is the greatest gift one can give.

Andy, stay strong, and determined.

Terri's Little Corner Game

Caution: Blog may be hot after microwaving.
______________________________________________________________________

LG is a bit of an outcast in the world of blogging.  Yes, it's true.

If you click around the blogosphere, you'll see that most other bloggers have multiple awards.  Granted, these "awards" are mostly created by other bloggers to get more visitors to their site, but, still, technically they're awards.  Some bloggers have so many awards that they've declared that they won't accept any more (many of these awards require the recipient to acknowledge the presenter and direct readers back to the presenter's site.)

But The LG Report doesn't even have one stinkin' measly half-assed award to show for itself.

And, generally, the other bloggers don't even ask The LG Report to play in their reindeer games.  We're guessing it's because the authoritative, professorial and serious tone of The LG Report has led other bloggers to believe that we're strictly a hard news site not given to indulging in juvenile pursuits.

Wrong-o Kemo Sabe.

Recently, one of the other bloggeristas, our friend Eva over at Wrestling with Retirement , (a very funny blog) implicated The LG Report in a game that originated at Terri's Little Corner.

LG is not familiar with Terri's blog, but it's worth checking out, no doubt.  And he is familiar with Eva's blog, and that's certainly a good one if you're looking for laughs.

So anyway, LG has decided to go along with this game in order to become a bit more mainstream in the blogging world.  Here are the rules:

You must list 5 things about yourself; 4 of them must be bold-faced lies. Just make some shit up, we’ll never know; one of them has to be true, though. Of course, nobody will ever know the difference, so we’re just on the honor system here. I trust you. Except for the 4 you lied about, you lying bastards! But don’t go crazy trying to think of stuff as we’re not really interested in quality here. Then you must pass this on to 5 bloggers.

So here we go, four of these statements are total lies, and one is the truth.  See if you can guess which one is true:

Looks kinda real, no?
1.  LG once made a handgun out of chocolate as part of a class project in 5th grade.  The teacher didn't like that LG had chosen a gun as his his shape for the chocolate, but she allowed it anyway.  When President Gerald Ford came to a nearby town to cut the ribbon on a new state-of-the-art shipyard, LG was hoping to present the gun to him as a gift from the school but Secret Service agents, upon seeing the chocolate gun, wrestled LG to the ground.  Once the truth was discovered, two Secret Service agents broke the gun into bite-sized sections and devoured it.  LG was glad that some of his hair had fallen into the chocolate while making the gun.  Phew, that's a long story and clearly BS so let's just concentrate on the next four....

Much hotter now than in school.
2. LG dated Madonna for two years while growing up in Michigan, but the relationship ended badly because she was so greedy.  LG kept calling her a material girl and she would counter "Papa (her nickname for LG because he wrote like Ernest Hemingway) don't preach!"  They eventually got into a big fight and LG refused to take her to the school sock hop, prompting her to say that LG had gone over the borderline. He told her that she was acting like a virgin and that she should thank her lucky star that LG even spoke to her.  LG knew that she would never amount to anything so he dumped her on New Year's Eve.

Like this, but in a wetsuit. Eww...
3.  LG sang the Star Spangled Banner before the start of the 1994 Little League World Series Championship Game between Northridge, California and a team from Venezuela.  He was given this honor because the Director of Operations for Little League Baseball, Inc. almost drowned while scuba diving off of the Bahamas, but LG saved his life by single-handedly lifting him off the ocean floor and swimming to the surface.  The man had lost control of his bowels during the ordeal, and promised to let LG sing the national anthem if would agree to never tell anyone that he had dropped a doody in his pants.  Note: the man said "tell," and never specifically asked LG to not blog about it.  Plus, it's too late now to make LG un-sing the National Anthem.

4.  LG's first language as a child was not English; he did not learn English until he went to kindergarten.

Doesn't look like a nut here.
5.  LG tried to enter the NASA astronaut training program but he was rejected because NASA Human Resources personnel felt that LG would be too distracting to the other astronauts with his George Clooney looks and Jerry Seinfeld sense of humor.  He also smells really good thanks to natural bodily scents.  That crazy bitch astronaut who wore the adult diaper from Houston to Florida was the one who interviewed him and had the final say.  He knew she was a stalker even then.

So that's it, which one is true?

LG could be a bastard and make you wait until the next posting....but he won't.  Scroll down for the answer.

Number 4 is true, LG first spoke Greek as a child before learning English.

That's LG's yacht in the background.

Yasou!  We hope to see you back here again soon.  Our next interviewee will be Sandra from Canada, and we're expecting great things from her!

INTEGRITY is like VIRGINITY........... You loose either once!

INTEGRITY is like VIRGINITY........... You loose either once! One thing that is soo obvious is that "Integrity is like Virginity, you just loose it once" Marende has the future of this nation strongly lying on his shoulders...... When Kenyans went to the polls to decide on the New Constitution, most of us had the Promise of a new dawn in our mind. We were all obsessed with the imagination of a new Kenya.....without the whimes of impunity, corruption, nepotism, human rights violations, rape etc. It is sad now to see those legistrators who canvased the nation in support of New Constitution yet they are now dancing to the tunes of impunity and political arrogance that the President has now illustrated. There was no apparent reason to vote Yes then commend the president on unconstitutional appointsments. Whether the two pricipals consulted or not, concured or not....Kenyans wants an indipendent Judicial System. We have hundreds of learned young professionals who can occupy this positions out of merit. In my view, the Speaker of the National Assembly should rise beyound the mere squambles of ODM & PNU. We want an indipendent body that is not aswerable to either the President or the PM but squrely answerable to Kenyans.

In this case, this nominations which were both unconsitutional and in to conform with the individual interests of the two Principals should be nullified. It is inverted logic since we can surely all see who are supporting impunity in this great Nation. For what reassons would a person like Ruto who is facing soo many court battles so strongly support this nominations? for what reasons would anyone on the list of Ocampo six support this Nominations? For what reasons would someone who soo strongly opposed the passing of the new constitution advice Kenyans that the President behaved in a manner of statemanship whileas he simply has once again lost the simple test of integrity? For how long shall we suffer in the hands of rapacious individuals who are out to satisy their own selfish individuals?

If for any reasons House Speaker Otiata Marende, failed to stop Kibaki and his corrupt cronies of Ruto, Uhuru, Murungi, Muthaura, Kosgey.......many more- Kenya shall have failed yet another litmus test on its ability to deal with local challenges i.e i leu of governance and administration of Justice. Just ask yourself howmany innocent Kenyans are behind bars because of a corrupt Jucicial System. Remember the case of Delamere son, Killings of Ouko, JM, Pinto Gama, Oscar of Oscar foundation, imagine how many innocent women have lost sons in name of Mungiki and the police streets executions? Imagine the thousands of women who have lost court cases of inheritance? imagine the many who have lost files in highcourt simply because someone wants to block justice? Imagine the several thousands IDPs, Remember the death of Father Kaiser, imagine the arrogance of a one Esther Murugi on issues of national importance such as HIV prevention? Could this be the reasons why MOi and his soider boys opposed this new constitution? See Kalonzo, Jirongo, Wamalwa, Ruto, Saitoti, Kosgey.............! God have mercy. This is a country in shere need of redmption. We cannot afford to let this chance of redeeming the dignity of a vote be abused and trashed by a few rich men & women. Lets see the bigger plot by land owners who wants ti have their own in the high offices. Kenyans wants a CJ, AG & DPP who are credible enough just like Lumumba is doing. If we allowed impunity to carry the day.......then even the efforts of KACC will all be useless. This is the time for kenya to stand up for total reforms not just partial reforms to conform with the interests of Raila & Kibaki cronies.

Parliament will be better off if it learned from the expirience of local institutions which have succeeded and also from those which did not. At all events, MPs must bond into one collective organ, which will speak in one voice especially in matters of Nationa improtance such as this one. They should develop their own internal mechanisms for making decisions that can bind all in good faith. If they did it otherwise, there wont be scarcity of people out to throw spanners if not fireworks into their works. The job mandated to the Speaker of the National Assembly is of such significance to the future of this Country. Presumerbly, he have no other country he can call home. Thats why he will use his position and abilities to stand up for and build Kenya for himself, for his people and for all of us. He cannot afford to let it go to ruin.
